TERMS OF SERVICE

Last updated: August 5, 2026

About these terms

These terms cover work done by RMCM, a web design and SEO studio operated by Ryan Mota from Toronto, Ontario. They apply when you engage RMCM for any of the services listed on the pricing page. Engaging RMCM means you agree to them. If a signed proposal or written agreement says something different, that document wins.

The services

RMCM offers three one-time projects, being web design, local SEO, and SEO, plus one ongoing program, the Search Roadmap. The Search Roadmap always opens with a fixed-price Sprint. What each one includes is listed on the pricing page and on the individual service pages. The version published at the time you engage is the version that applies to your engagement.

What RMCM needs from you

Work moves at the speed of your input. For SEO work and the Search Roadmap, that means read-only access to your Google Search Console property. For web design, it means your content, brand assets, and the facts only you have. It also means feedback within a reasonable window. If a project stalls waiting on materials for more than 30 days, the timeline resets and the work is rebooked into the next available slot.

Approvals and publishing

Nothing is published to your site without your approval. You review the draft, you ask for changes, and it goes live once you say so. One round of revisions is included with every deliverable. Further rounds are fine, and get quoted separately if they change the agreed scope.

Fees and payment

All prices are in Canadian dollars and are published on the pricing page. One-time projects are billed 50% before work begins and 50% on completion. Monthly plans are billed at the start of each month. Invoices are due within 14 days of issue. Work may pause on overdue accounts until the balance is settled.

The Sprint guarantee

If the Search Console Sprint does not surface at least 15 documented opportunities backed by your own Search Console data, you do not pay for it. A documented opportunity means a specific, named finding tied to a page or a query in your own data, with an action attached to it. The count appears in the roadmap itself so you can check the number rather than take it on trust. If the Sprint comes up short, the invoice is cancelled and you keep the analysis.

Term and cancellation

The three project fees are one-time and the engagement ends when the work ships. Monthly plans run for a first term of 90 days, then continue month to month with 30 days written notice to cancel. Cancelling stops future billing. It does not refund months already delivered.

Ownership

Once it is paid for, everything RMCM produces for you is yours: the site, the pages, the content, and the roadmap. It lives on your domain, under your own accounts. There are no licence fees, no proprietary platform to stay subscribed to, and nothing that stops working when the engagement ends. RMCM may reference completed work in its portfolio and case studies unless you ask it not to in writing.

Confidentiality and your data

Search Console access is read-only and you can revoke it at any time. RMCM uses it to read performance data and for nothing else. Your data is not sold, shared, or used to train anything. Business information you share in the course of the work stays confidential. Data collected from visitors to this website is covered separately in the privacy policy.

How AI is used

RMCM uses AI tools during research, drafting, and analysis, then edits the output with human judgment before anything ships. Nothing is published straight from a model. If you would rather no AI tooling touched your work at any stage, say so before the engagement starts and it can be scoped that way.

What we do and do not promise

RMCM promises the deliverables listed for the service you bought, done properly and on the stated timeline. RMCM does not promise rankings, traffic, or revenue. Search engines and AI platforms are third parties that nobody controls, their behaviour changes without notice, and any figures discussed during a project are informed estimates rather than commitments. Results achieved on other projects are not a prediction of yours.

Liability

Total liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid RMCM in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. RMCM is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, lost data, or lost business opportunity.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in it. The courts of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The version published on this page when you engage RMCM is the one that applies to that engagement.
